2024 netWORK at Food Bank of Western Massachusetts Oct 24th

Join us and the Northampton Chamber of Commerce for the netWORK series. We are parterning with a local non-profit, The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, and invite the Greater Chicopee and Greater Northampton Chamber communities to participate in a project to benefit that organization.

That project will be food sorting at The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts!
Each year, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts receives millions of pounds of food, including frozen meat, produce, and dray goods. We will be sorting donations for distribution at food pantries, meal sites, mobile food banks, and brown bag programs for elders in need throughout Western Massachusetts.

Please note that volunteers must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes and clothes they don't mind getting dirty. Volunteers may bring water in clear plastic containers; all other foods and drinks are not allowed in the warehouse.
