Lunch & Learn New Overtime Exemption Rule

The U.S. Department of Labor has issued its highly-anticipated Final Rule regarding overtime exempt status for “white collar” workers.  The DOL estimates that the Final Rule will extend overtime protections to more than 4 million workers.  John Gannon, attorney with Skoler, Abbott & Presser, will discuss the impact of the new overtime exemption rule and share strategies for compliance that will lessen the impact to your bottom line.  Jenny MacKay, Benefits & Compensation Consultant with The Gaudreau Group, will discuss other employee benefits that may be affected by this change.
